"...this is a growing season, of change, of turning, of shedding, of letting things fall away, and fall apart, and come undone, and be uncovered.

and then a space of surrender, and being, just being.

and the reflections here are temporary, so take them in and honor them, and behest with them, and when them...but then forgive the,, and don't stay in them

let it all go...let yourself bloom."

My Journey

Are looking for someone who will help guide you through this photoshoot and provide the experience of seeing yourself! Hi, I’m Abigail, the founder Bloom Boudoir located here in Ft. Worth Texas. I am a mother to young girls. Whom I desire to see grow into women who embody confidence and know themselves.I hope and pray that they always know their own beauty as unique and feel confident in who they are. They, among all women, are the reason I am doing this.

I will be the first to admit it took me a long time to say, "I am beautiful" and believe it. It took years to be at peace with my self-image. I have always struggled with my appearance. I have since realized how much I love what my body is capable of; the real beauty lies beneath any self-perceived flaw.

Becoming a boudoir photographer, I bottled up my self-love journey, and I want to share it with everyone. I understand the pain of not feeling comfortable in your own skin. But let me tell you how awesome it feels once you find self-acceptance and freedom and begin to feel more connected with your body.

A newly found freedom and peace brings such refreshment to our everyday life. I want every woman to feel that liberation from self-doubt. Let me be your guide to your new beginning.

Let me tell you why I stared this journey. I have 3 themes I want to embody as your boudoir photographer. I want to help you: ReImagine, ReClaim, and ReDefine. In going through my own sensuality/womanhood journey, I have struggled in positively Imagining myself as a sensual and sexual woman. "To say 'this is my body' is to state that this body belongs to no one else.....In doing so, we Reclaim the body-for-self paradigm." I believe that boudoir can be a vehicle in which we reclaim ourselves for US. Due to the culture I grew up; there is a need to redefine beauty, sensuality and expression. Instead of changing our body, we need to change how we talk about, think about and care for our bodies. As I believe this is a continuous journey, it is a growth that I have graciously been able to experience.

When I shoot women and they are able to see themselves as strong, sensual, beautiful; seeing themselves as inherently worthy and good- that is my goal for every woman to experience seeing and knowing themselves as such. I hope that you not only love your photos, but to come out of our shoot with a confidence that spurs on continual love for yourself and your body. I desire these experiences to be the beginning of personal growth to where you not only feel but embody the essence of your true sensual self.
